Do you already know Tapioca? Learn some reasons to include tapioca in the diet.

Believe me, it is a healthy food and along with other foods, it can even replace some meals, it can be used as pre-workout and even post-workout. It is a practical option, easy to prepare and versatile with many options to always vary :) 

What is tapioca? 

Tapioca is made from starch extracted from cassava, whose main nutrient is carbohydrate. So it is always advisable to include some source of protein as a filling. 

Currently, it is in the diet of many people, at different times of the day but like any food, it should be consumed in moderation. To maintain a balanced and healthy diet, choose your fillings well.

A tip: Include oats, sesame, chia or flaxseed in the dough to make it even more nutritious.

To make the tapioca dough

Before going to the frying pan, pass the tapioca gum through the sieve to have a uniform and thin mass. Place the required amount (advisable 2 to 3 c. Hydrated tapioca gum soup) in the frying pan and spread with the help of a spatula, leave on low heat for a while until it is "stiff".
