Vitamin C
Vitamin C, also known as ascorbic acid, is a micronutrient naturally present in food, especially citrus fruits, such as acerola or orange, for example. This vitamin is a powerful antioxidant and acts by slowing cell aging, but it also participates in the formation of collagen, absorption of iron at the intestinal level, synthesis of norepinephrine and in the conversion of cholesterol into bile acids.
