Buxus sempervirens, this is the scientific name given to the boxwood plant, which belongs to the Celastrinaceae family.

Known for being used in processions that take place on Palm Sunday, the herb is also full of beneficial effects on human health. Therefore, it can be used to treat various health problems and those related to aesthetics.

The plant has medicinal properties that fight asthma, is anti-rheumatic, anti-syphilitic, hair tonic, laxative, mild diuretic, purgative and helps in the production of sweat.

The drink made from boxwood is indicated for people who suffer from fever, nocturnal urination, hair loss, amoebas, giardia, syphilis, ball passages and urinary inflammation.

Ingredients:

• 40 g of dry leaves;

• 1 liter of water.

Preparation:

Bring all the ingredients to the fire and bring to a boil until reduced by 2/3 of the volume.
