Turmeric - The active components of Curcuma longa or Indian Turmeric are curcumin and zingiberene. These active ingredients are responsible for the anti-inflammatory, cholagogue, choleretic and spasmolytic action. Curcumin is responsible for analgesic and anti-inflammatory effects, comparable to certain medications such as: phenylbutazone and various NSAIDs (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs). Scientific studies have shown that it nullifies the action of substance P, which is related to the transmission of pain stimuli in nerve endings. Curcumin works by inhibiting the release of inflammatory agents (cytokines, leukotrienes, prostaglandins and nitric oxide), allowing the rapid improvement of symptoms and the recovery of cartilage repair activity by chondrocytes. The antioxidant effect of curcumin also supports its anti-inflammatory action and is therefore widely used as an analgesic, relieving joint pain, especially in cases of rheumatoid arthritis, reducing joint stiffness.

Rosemary - It is included as an extract to preserve the active components, in addition to being useful due to camphor (essential oil) as it has a stimulating action on circulation and the nervous system.
