An antioxidant par excellence, vitamin E, fat-soluble, protects cells, membranes and lipids from toxic oxidative damage caused by harmful free radicals. These are produced by the body, when converting food into energy but, above all, through environmental exposure to air pollutants, cigarette smoke and solar ultra violet radiation.

Present in wheat germ oil, vitamin E plays a very important role in terms of the health of the immune, cardiovascular and visual systems, being essential to the maintenance of energy levels and vitality of the organism.

It is involved in cell signaling, regulation of gene expression and other metabolic processes. It inhibits the activity of protein kinase C, involved in cell proliferation.
