This fruit has a low caloric value, 100 grams of eggplant provide about 27 calories. Used to reduce the accumulation of fat in the body, it contributes to an increase in lipid catabolism, helping to prevent the storage of fat in the body.

Eggplant eliminates the water accumulated in the body, helping to avoid excess weight due to fluid retention (diuretics). It has an appetite-reducing effect, giving a feeling of satiety throughout the day.

Lemon consists of an essential oil (dipentene (70%), a-pinene, ß-pinene, citral, citronellal, terpineol, camphene and felandrene), coumarins (limethine and bergamotine), citroflavenoids (neo-hesperidósidos and rutinosidos), carotenoids, mucilages, pectins, organic acids (ascorbic, citric and malic) and sugars.

The essential oil is antiseptic, eupéptico and diuretic due to the presence of citroflavenoids that also have venotonic activity. Pectins play a protective role in the gastrointestinal mucosa. In fact, lemon in its natural state has citric acid as its active ingredient, which after the digestive process behaves as an alkalizing agent in the body.

Its salts are converted into calcium and potassium carbonates and bicarbonates, among others, which positively accentuate the alkalinity of the blood. Lemon contributes to better hepatobiliary activity (of the liver and gallbladder). By enhancing the metabolic capacity of Organs excretory organs, it promotes the cleansing and detoxification of the entire organism.
