Megalip 30 Caps - Eubage

Food supplement that participates in the modulation of cholesterol levels and reduces the incidence of the effects of triglycerides.

Cholesterol is essential for the structure of cell walls, for the production of hormones and amino acids. Two-thirds of cholesterol is synthesized by the body in the cytoplasm of liver and intestinal cells, while one-third comes from food. Absorbed or produced, the organism will reduce all excess cellular cholesterol by inhibiting the production of its own membrane receptors and inducing a reduction in inflow by deactivating HMG-coA reductase, stopping synthesis, or stimulating acetyltransferase (ACAT), an enzyme that catalyzes its esterification to favor the storage of free cholesterol.

Hydrophobic in nature, cholesterol cannot be transported except by specific lipoproteins that are distinguished into LDL-cholesterol (low density lipoprotein), the “bad” cholesterol, which transports cholesterol from secretion sites to cells, and HDL-cholesterol (high density lipoprotein), which brings cholesterol from cells and tissues to the liver, where it will be degraded into chenodeoxycholic bile acids. LDL carry the majority of cholesterol and, due to their low density, they tend to adhere to the walls of blood vessels, favoring the formation of atheromas.
The high density of HDL allows them to slide along vascular walls.
Hypercholesterolemia and its consequence, atherosclerosis, represent the main vectors of cardiovascular diseases, cerebrovascular accidents and ischemic heart disease.

The compound silymarins, especially silybin, silycristin and silidiadin from Milk Thistle (Silybum marianum) detoxify and drain hepatobiliary cells. They are probably the most effective hepatoprotective phytotherapeutic substances, as they regenerate liver tissues, protecting them from natural toxins (alcohol, mushrooms, insect bites, etc.) or synthetic ones (solvents, medicines, various pollutions, etc.). They facilitate the emulsification of fats and the elimination of triglycerides and cholesterol. They reduce liver cell necrosis and reduce the formation of fibrous tissue, as well as serum transaminase levels.
The European Commission and the WHO recognize its use in “the treatment of dyspepsia, a complex set of digestive symptoms more or less directly linked to non-functional problems of the hepatobiliary system in liver poisoning (hepatitis and cirrhosis of the liver).

Beta-Sitosterol, the most effective of the phytosterols, intervenes in reducing the secretion and inhibiting the intestinal absorption of LDL-cholesterol.
Maintains the structure and functioning of the cell membrane in synergy with cholesterol.
With a structure similar to cholesterol, beta-Sitosterol replaces dietary and bile cholesterol in intestinal micelles, inhibiting the absorption of cholesterol in the intestine.

Flavonoids and vitamin P from American Chrysanthemum (Chrysantellum americanum) stimulate digestive secretions, facilitating the emulsion of triglycerides and LDL-cholesterol. Recognized pancreatic protectors.
Depuratives and hepatoprotectors when caused by alcohol intoxication, excess food or hepatitis, they increase bile secretion.

Vitamin P improves peripheral venous circulation and increases capillary resistance. Monascus purpureus (Red rice) is a purple mold, also called red yeast and obtained from the fermentation of red rice, practiced in China since very ancient times. In China, they already knew its beneficial effects on cardiovascular, digestive, metabolic and hepatic processes. It is now known that it is a source of Monacolin K, with lipid-lowering action and inhibitor of HMG-CoA reductase, an enzyme that regulates cholesterol synthesis in the liver.
Red yeast rice reduces total cholesterol levels, increasing HDL which is the good cholesterol and has the added benefit of fewer adverse effects compared to statins.

Polymethoxylated flavones of the Tangerine (Citrus reticulata) and Bitter Orange (Citrus aurantium) complex, involved in various mechanisms of lipoprotein metabolism, contribute to the disappearance of cholesterol deposits and favor the dilation of vessels. This complex ensures the transport of HDL lipoproteins and participates in the activation of apolipoprotein A.
They reinforce glycemic control and reduce platelet aggregation.

Ubiquinone is the same as coenzyme Q10, well known for its antioxidant properties, fundamental for the production of energy in mitochondria, therefore acting in metabolic depth as a good promoter of the connection between the Krebs cycle and the respiratory chain, that is, as modeler of a balanced anabolism-catabolism relationship.
Unfortunately, our body's deficits in Ubiquinone are common, with negative consequences for the entire body, particularly good cardiac performance (fatigue, asthenia, insufficiency).
It is an agent of choice in convalescence, weakness and anti-aging, naturally strengthening the myocardium.
