INGREDIENTS

Olea europaea (Oliveira; olive leaf extract EFLA 943®), Crataegus oxyacantha (Crataégus; concentrated extract containing at least 18,75% OPC), Allium sativum (Garlic; 3: 1 dry extract), L-ascorbic acid, bulking agent: microcrystalline cellulose, anti-caking agent: magnesium stearate, D-alpha-tocopherol 50%, anti-caking agent: silicon dioxide, sodium selenite.

 

COMPOSITION

(2 tablets) 
Olive Leaf Extract EFLA 943® 700 mg, Garlic (1% albumin) 500 mg, Crataegus (18,75% OPC) 400 mg, Vitamin C 100 mg (125% VRN *), Vitamin E 12 mg α-TE (100% VRN *), Selenium 55 µg (100% VRN *).

HOW TO USE

1 tablet 2 times a day, preferably after meals.

 

USE IN CASE OF PREGNANCY AND LACTATION

Do not use in case of pregnancy and lactation.

 

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Excessive consumption of crataegus can produce respiratory and cardiac depression. It should not be used in the first 3 months of pregnancy, or in children under 6 years of age. Excessive consumption of garlic can cause gastrointestinal irritations, allergic reactions and can increase the risk of bleeding. Garlic is contraindicated in case of active bleeding, pre- and postoperatively and in thrombocytopenia. Vitamin E and vitamin C should be avoided in case of angioplasty. Excessive consumption of vitamin E can lead to bleeding. Excessive consumption of selenium can cause symptoms such as hair loss, white streaks on the nails, fatigue, irritability and metallic taste.

 

DRUG INTERACTIONS AND OTHER

Due to the presence of crataegus, do not associate with cardiotonic heterosides, beta-blockers, hypotensive agents, or benzodiazepines. Due to the presence of garlic, do not associate with anticoagulants, antiplatelet agents, oral contraceptives and hepatic metabolized drugs. Vitamin E interacts with medicines metabolized by the liver. Selenium can interact with hypotensive drugs, with sedatives and with warfarin.
