Food supplement for extra help for women

This supplement combines a series of plants that are an extra help for women in menopause, premenstrual syndrome, menstrual irregularities, osteoporosis and other problems associated with the female reproductive system.

Cimicifuga is a plant traditionally used by Native American Indians during menstruation and menopause, in case of cramps and muscle tension. It is a plant that has shown success in the different complaints presented in cases where there is an imbalance of the female hormone (estrogens).

Soy isoflavones (genistein / daidzein), also commonly called phytoestrogens, have been shown to help reduce the risk of certain cancers (breast, ovaries, etc.) caused by high levels of estrogens.

Phytoestrogens act by blocking the natural receptors of the hormone estrogen which, in turn, will inhibit the proliferation of the hormone-dependent tumor. The action of phytoestrogens is beneficial in the symptoms of menopause and helps to maintain bone mass in postmenopausal women since they, although 1000 times smaller, have estrogenic activity, which is beneficial at the time of menopause at which levels estrogen decrease.

Feverfew is a plant that dates back to the ancient Greek and Roman peoples and was introduced by the colonialists in North America due to its tranquilizing action and due to the fact of intervening in the menstrual period. For these reasons, its components have traditionally been used to help treat a number of problems related to the female reproductive system.

Anho-chaste has traditionally been used to help regulate a woman's menstrual cycle. In parallel, it has also been used to help lessen the effects of menopause. Some studies have shown that some of the active components of anho-caste have shown an effective action in the reduction of anxiety, dysmenorrhea and mood changes associated with menopause and PMS (premenstrual syndrome).

Dong quai has been used by traditional Chinese medicine for thousands of years in formulas for women. Its application has been made at the level of menstruation (irregular menstrual period and abundant menstrual flow). Its anti-inflammatory, antispasmodic and vasodilator action makes this plant useful in menstrual pain. Dong quai has phytoestrogenic properties and for this reason helps to regulate female hormones.

Astragalus has been used extensively by traditional Chinese medicine for its adaptogenic and tonic properties. Its active ingredients have immuno-modulating activity which makes this plant an aid in strengthening natural resistance to pathogens.

Marian thistle has a long tradition in its application as a hepatoprotective tale. For this reason, its inclusion in this formula aims to help in the detoxifying processes of the debris resulting from premenstrual symptoms and menopause.
