Absinthe, scientifically known as Artemisiae absinthium L., is also popularly known as wormwood. It is a plant that has been used since very ancient times.

Absinthe is widely used in deworming and digestive treatments, but this plant contains a very toxic substance in its composition and this makes its use even more moderate. People still make absinthe liqueur, which is an alcoholic drink well known as “green fairy”.

Absinthe is very indicated in the treatment of non-functional digestive problems, such as gastric acidity, digestive disorders, anorexia, lack of appetite, flatulence, bloating, anemia, vomiting, dyspepsia, menstrual cramps and other problems.

How to use:

It is possible to make infusions (where 1 to 2 teaspoons of coffee should be consumed per glass of water, 2 to 3 times a day), in powder or tincture. The latter can be found in pharmacies and is used in drops, which must be taken in a glass of water 2-3 times a day. To make the tea, just boil half a liter of water and then turn off the heat, after that, put a tablespoon of the leaf and leave it smothered for 10 minutes.
