It is indicated for women who need to regulate their menstrual cycles, as it stimulates the uterus and promotes menstrual bleeding. It can also be used to combat conjunctivitis, and should be used as follows: soften the leaves with mineral water and then soak cotton wool in this water to be applied to closed eyes. The leaves can also be boiled before this, but they must be at room temperature.

Use:

Pour 2/3 tablespoons, or 10 grams of tea, in about 2/3 deciliters of cold water. Bring to the boil and let it boil for 5 minutes. Remove and leave to infuse. After straining, take 3 times a day, between meals, warm or cold, with or without sugar or sweetener.
