Preparation:

wash a cup (250g) of rice in cold water and let it drain. Place the washed rice in a pan with 1 and 1/4 cups of cold water (340ml). Soak for 30 minutes. Place on the stove until boiling. Cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until the water evaporates. Remove from heat and leave the pan covered for another 10 minutes.
