For internal use, the tea is indicated to treat fluid retention, coughing, cramps, weakness, skin problems, catarrh and hypertension. In external use, the tea from the leaves and bark of the plant is used to treat inflammation in the throat and canker sores (in the form of gargling), tumors, vaginal inflammation and chilblains and tiredness in the feet.

 

Method of preparation:

Ingredients:

– 2 tablespoons of the leaves and husks of the cashew tree, in small pieces;
– 1 liter of water.

Mix the ingredients and bring to the fire. After boiling, simmer for approximately 10 minutes. After this period, turn off the heat and let it simmer for another 10 minutes. The indication for consumption is 1 cup of this tea, three to four times a day.
